Class Descriptions:

Yoga classes are listed in the order of level of intensity and practice experience starting with classes that are most accessible to advanced. Every class builds strength and flexibility, and ultimately relieves stress.

MEDITATION/YOGA NIDRA: 50 minutes of breathing and guided meditation.

RESTORATIVE YOGA:  60 minutes of relaxing floor poses, using props, designed to be a low impact practice. Based around slow movements and stretches that last between 1-4 minutes.

GENTLE/PRENATAL: 60 minutes of prenatal yoga poses and sequences modified to accommodate a growing belly. Open to ALL levels of practitioners who prefer a more restorative and relaxing class.

GENTLE SENIOR YOGA:  60 minutes of a gentle form of yoga with sitting and standing poses with option to use the chair as prop. Focus on movement to improve posture, balance, and stamina.

GENTLE PLUS SENIOR YOGA:  60 minutes of a gentle, yet invigorating, form of yoga with sitting and standing poses with option to use the chair as prop. Focus on movement to improve posture, balance, and stamina. PLUS = added intensity.

GENTLE YOGA: 60 or 75 minutes of yoga poses to build stability and flexibility. Perfect for those who prefer a more restorative class with a little more movement. Sequence is pose to pose, not a flow class. Suited for all levels.

GENTLE PLUS YOGA: 60 minutes of yoga poses focusing on core strength and stability with the option to use a chair as a prop for a different level of intensity. PLUS = added intensity.

L1 VINYASA*: 60 or 75 minutes of a yoga flow sequence at a moderate pace. Dissolves tension. Focuses on beginner cues and instruction. A basic knowledge of asana is encouraged. 

L2+ VINYASA*: 60 minutes of an energetic yoga flow that strengthens and tones the entire body with less instruction and cues. Moderately heated. Some inversions. Geared for intermediate and seasoned practitioners

H-VINYASA* (H= heated): 60, 75, OR 90 minutes of a yoga flow sequence that strengthens and tones. Dissolves tension. May be heated at 90+ degrees. For all vinyasa levels (L1, L2+). 


*Vinyasa is a “flow” sequence of poses in constant movement with transitions up and down on the mat.
